Module Federation in Safety Critical Aviation Systems with Angular, NestJS, and NX | Lightning Talk
Over the past six months we have undertaken a large project: merge two substantial codebases that consist of 6 different products in the aviation sector and turn this into a solution. We had a head start as both codebases used the same tech stack, but there was still a challenge to be solved. Merging teams with different backgrounds, creating a mono-repo, product requirements, new CI/CD pipelines, creating consistent and well-designed UI/UX, and providing a scalable developer environment that keeps us focused on writing quality code. None of this was possible without the deep integration of NX and Module Federation and now that we have completed the first steps of this transformation, our development will never be the same. We will board this flight at the beginning where we enjoyed some pre-flight snacks and prepared for our journey. The flight itself was turbulent, but we made it safely to our destination: a clean working solution that future passengers can trust.
